Dr Jennifer Van Os will join us for the August 13 The Nutritionist webinar when she will talk about temperature regulation in cows and calves. Dr. Van Os is an assistant professor and extension specialist at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Her research focuses on understanding, evaluating, and improving the welfare of dairy animals from a biological perspective. The goal of her extension program will be to promote best practices in management and housing to help the Wisconsin dairy industry adapt as our scientific knowledge about animal welfare continues to grow.  For more information, visit the Dairy Animal Welfare site.
