The effect of heat stress in utero on future performance
Dr. Dahl is the director of the University of Florida Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems and the Harriet B Weeks professor in animal science. His program focuses on understanding the physiological impact of management interventions, notably photoperiod and heat stress abatement, at various stages of the lactation cycle, in an attempt to harness that knowledge to optimize cow health and performance.
