We are pleased to announce an exciting series of webinars focused on dairy cattle nutrition with presentations by some of the leading educators and researchers in the field of ruminant nutrition. These monthly webinars are intended to provide access to technical seminars on a range of topics delivered by internationally recognized speakers. The series is a unique, three language presentation held in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Hosted by Agricultural Modeling and Training Systems (AMTS) in the United States, noted ruminant nutritionists will present in English while Marcelo Hentz Ramos from 3rLab simultaneously translates into Portuguese in Brazil and Paula Turiello translates into Spanish for Argentina. Dynamic audience participation through questions and polls will be incorporated into the talks. There will be a post-presentation question and answer period during which listeners can interact with the speaker, directly or through a translator if necessary.
These seminars will be held the second Wednesday of the month at 4:00 pm EST beginning February 11. There will be approximately one hour delivery interspersed with polls and questions for the speaker and one hour question and answer period after the completion of the talk. In addition, a complete recording will be available on the AMTS and 3rLab websites.
An exciting line up of speakers and topics have been planned. Michael VanAmburgh, PhD, Cornell University will be our first speaker. His very timely presentation will focus on the changes in the CNCPS biology–with emphasis on the soon to be released (at this writing) version 6.5. Tom Tylutki, PhD, will join Mike in the discussion period to field questions as well.
We are pretty excited about this opportunity to facilitate talks by some of the most noted Ruminant Nutritionists; TED talks for cow people! Pre-registration for the webinars is required; for more information and registration, contact mariann@agmodelsystems.com Registration will close 9 am EST 11 February.
