In 2015 AMTS teamed up with 3Rlab in Brazil and Paula Turiello Nutrition in Argentina to develop The Nutritionist Webinar Series. The series is a unique, three language presentation held in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Noted ruminant nutritionists present in English hosted by Mariann Fessenden of AMTS in the United States; Marcelo Hentz Ramos hosts a simultaneously translated webinar in Portuguese, and Paula Turiello hosts a Spanish language webinar. The purpose of these webinars is to provide access to technical seminars on a range of topics delivered by internationally recognized speakers to a global audience. The first year of The Nutritionist was a tremendous success! In our maiden year we were routinely delivering the live presentation to six continents. The traffic to archived presentations has been impressive.
The Nutritionist 2016 promises to be even better. We will be offering 10 presentations with 13 speakers on topics as diverse as transition cow feeding, forage analyses, calf and heifer feeding, high production formulation, and milk component manipulation through diet. The first webinar will be Dr. Tom Overton speaking on Transition Cow Diets.
