Palm Oil, what is it and how sustainable is it

Dr Elliot Block’s presentation talks about the value of palm oil in dairy diets for farms focusing on inclusion of sustainable crops. He will gives us a world view of how and where palm oil is produced and what are some of the facts as well as the myths associated with it. Given the increasing price volitility and unknown availability of other fat sources because of the Russian War on Ukraine, palm oil may be a more appealing enregy source than previously observed. Dr Block  discusses sources and issues or perceived issues with using palm fat. Dr Block has worked with Church & Dwight Co, Inc for almost 23 years. Prior to that, he was a professor in Dairy Cattle Nutrition At McGill University.
