AMTS is facilitating a WebEx webinar with Dr. Melanie Hemenway, DVM, the coordinator of New York State Cattle Health Assurance Program (NYSCHAP), about the Veterinary Feed Directive that went into full effect throughout the United States as of January 1, 2017. Dr Hemenway’s talk will target producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, feed mill managers, anyone associated the care of feed-animals. Her hour talk on 21 March at 1:00 pm EDT will be followed by a question and answer period. The webinar is free and open to all.
Dr Hemenway has been responsible for a series of talks throughout New York State geared towards educating the industry and assisting with compliance. The NYSCHAP website is a resource for information and additional links.
