Tom spent some time earlier this month in Chile. While there he addressed a group about utilizing AMTS to help balance diets in systems based on grazing cattle. He addressed supplementing with properly balanced amino acids and added fats with an eye towards improved solids milk solids compositions. We will address more about working in this area of the world in future postings.
Just a quick tip about inputting milk and fat percentages in the Cattle screen, these numbers should be for the group—not the tank percentages.
