We are excited to announce the arrival of AMTS.Dairy on Oct. 20, 2009.
This new program will be released during the 2009 Cornell Nutrition Conference Pre-Conference Symposium in Syracuse NY.
AMTS.Dairy is an exciting development for the current CPM Dairy user. Here is why....
**Current Users**Within the last few weeks there was a new patch released that updated feed libraries and a few other things for each program. Please make sure you have the newest version of your program.
Based on meetings with Cornell, the following changes have been made in the core biological model:
1. CHO B3 pool: was calculated as NDF - CHO C - NDIN. Based on historical data and discussions, the NDIN should not be included. So it is now: NDF - CHO C
2. Microbial fat digestibility changed to 80% from 95%
If you are importing a session from CPM into 6.1 biology (.Cattle.Pro, .Cattle, .Dairy), and that diet includes a by-pass amino acid, pay attention!
HI everyone. We have released AMTS.Cattle.Dairy to beta.
If you would like to get a peak at it, please email us. And we hope to see you at the CNC or another conference this year to talk about AMTS.
Tom
We have been testing Windows 7 RC2 for about a week now. While we had a little issue with setup initially, we let Windows 7 do what it suggested with the AMTS.Cattle.Pro setup file and reran it. It all ran fine after that!
So, it appears that AMTS products will run fine on Windows 7. We will continue to do testing over the next couple of months as Windows 7 gets closer to release.
All of us at AMTS LLC wish to welcome you to our new web site. Any comments or suggestions are welcome....
Clients please note: please create an account and you will see special features just for you!
