AA ingredient things to watch out for
If you are importing a session from CPM into 6.1 biology (.Cattle.Pro, .Cattle, .Dairy), and that diet includes a by-pass amino acid, pay attention!
With the differences in passage rates, degradation rates, etc., the by-pass characteristics of certain products will be off in 6.1 biology compared with manufacturer claims. Therefore, after importing a file from CPM, you double-check the kds and intestinal digestibility factors for these products. Some manufacturers have provided us with updated matrix values that we are including in an upcoming patch. Regardless, check with your suppliers as to the correct rates to use.
