AMTS.MMS

AMTS.MMS (Matrix Management System) is a data warehouse. Answer these questions: How many times per year do you update your formulation matrix? And, How frequently do you provide your nutritionists in the field with updated matrix values? And, How many times per month do you see the quality control data from incoming ingredients?

If you answered anything other than “Daily” or “Twice per Week”, do you know how much money you are losing? Or, how much risk you are living with? AMTS.MMS is meant to address these issues.
.MMS has the objective of holding all the raw data from chemical analysis required for the model. For every ingredient, you can import (or manually input) the analytical data either from a lab or from new software for the Perten DA7200 NIR instrument. Then, for each nutrient, you can decide to use a rolling average, overall dataset average, +/- 0.5 - 2.0 SDs of either the overall or rolling average, latest value, or to ignore a sample when creating and updating a feed library. This data can also be exported to Format International for mill level formulation (more formats upon request). Additionally, you can update composite (mix) profile using the composition data from the individual ingredients so your field nutritionists always have the latest values to work with. AMTS.Cattle.Pro feed libraries created with .MMS can be password protected and include an expiration date. Thus, it is our way of keeping your matrix secure and updated for your field nutritionists. Feeds and composites can also be password protected and/or made static (end user can not edit information).
Price updating? .MMS also includes ingredient pricing tracking to not only keep other AMTS products updated, but also useful for tracking ingredient and composite price trends.
Once a new .Cattle.Pro feed library is created in .MMS, it can easily be sent via email to all .Cattle.Pro users. The .Cattle.Pro user then places it in a folder in My Documents, starts .Cattle.Pro, and can update the Farm file with the latest information in the new feed library.
