HI Everyone.
As we continue to add files and such to the site, it has been getting confusing for all of us to find these files unless we knew what they were posted with. So, effective now, you (if you are a registered user to the site) will see on the left menu "Web File Manager". As we continue to add files (and including the current ones), this page will be a listing of all of the attached files. You can download them from here directly.
And coming soon: A FAQ section. We are working on this slowly.
Thanks
Tom
That seems to be a common question people have been asking moving to AMTS.Cattle.Dairy. So, we have put together a document that discusses some of the changes and their impact. Login to get it!
Hi Everyone. We will be starting a couple new and exciting systems over the next month.
The first type is an on-line session where you will be able to login to a web site where one of us will be operating .Dairy or .Pro. You can ask questions in real time and watch as we work through various components of the software, how to do certain things, and a few tricks of the software.
This is just a simple graph showing observed vs predicted and some simple stats for CNCPS 6.1 biology.
Courtesy of Dr. Mike Van Amburgh, Cornell University, Dec 2009.
NOTICE: This accuracy is only available from programs based on CNCPS 6.1 with licenses with Cornell University.
We are often asked about the accuracy of the core biological model, especially when people have had good success using previous versions of the biology.
Attached you will see a pdf where Dr. Van Amburgh calculated stats on accuracy and some herd level experiences from CNCPS 6.1 biology. I think the data clearly speaks for itself. NOTICE: This is 6.1 biology specifically and is only available from licensed groups.
We have been asked by several people doing evaluations/comparisons between CPM and 6.1 biology (.Dairy) for some guidelines since so many of the numbers have changed.
The file attached to this message is a pdf of just that nature. It is too big to print on 1 page (it would require 4 or 6 pages to print) but you can easily open the pdf, zoom in to various sections, and work with this document on your screen.
Did I miss things on the list? I'm sure I did! Email your requests to add to this evaluation matrix and we will get it done!
Tom
